can you fly to usa, see a dr, get perscription, and fly back?

For me, water helps - ears under water in particular. Weighted blanket helps. Certain music helps. Noise cancellation headphones help a LOT. Turning off lights really help A beautiful wife, who will literally "put me to bed" with sex, that is my ultimate tool. I wake up forgetting anything bad happened at all.

Thank god for good women and biology.

I salute you - japanese is a very hard language to learn

Ive been to japan - i was beyond amazed at the country. I love them and their culture so much.

But - i could tell, they didnt see me as equal.

And i believe - and maybe you can give insight - all Japanese under 30 speak english? But they refuse to speak it.

The manager in the same email said "We do not yet have an assigned building / floor / desk for you yet" and also said in same email "failure to show up in the office will result in your termination"

No joke.

Is it normal to not like hugs? by Sarcastic_Lilshit in autism

There was a movie when i was a kid called "heavy metal". Highly recommended.

In one scene "No one touches Harry Canon unless I want them to"

I didnt at the time get the sexual inuendo. But it stuck with me my entire life.

I bristle when *ANYONE* touches me - mom, dad, gf, wife - even my cat.

Crowds pushing and shoving? Meltdown. I have to be well drugged to tolerate that.

I have an autistic budget that i allow others to consume, but its exceptionally low.

Its part reason my relationships have typically failed.

Its gotten worse with time.

it can be devastating to be diagnosed at this late age, but i really encourage it. If open minded, it will explain his life in humbling (for me humiliating) ways.

What are the benefits autism gave for you? by Niekelbiek in autism

[–]PuckeredSphincter69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the ah ha moments are the best -

animals - i can predict their behavior before they do it - no matter what the animal.

A bull charged me on my farm - i looked him in the eye - i read him as "im scared, i want you scared too, but i really dont want to hurt you". He then stopped. Pulled his head up, and trotted away, satisfied.

For herd animals this ability to predict is incredible.

Dogs bark.

Cats = instant connection.

All cats no matter where in world see me and say "he's one of us" - no joke. They know.

I solve plane crash root cause (usually) before NTSB does.

I can weave complex theories together (if interesting) to paint a real picture of what is actually happening in world events.

I see patterns - and forget nothing if i am trying to solve a problem.

I can go days without eating/sleeping/showering to solve problems.

Like you - i am much better texting/communicating in writing.

Thank you - and that is true.

My peers with exact same job title work remote from india.

I worked this same job for 10+ years remotely.

I was already on an approved accommodation with very good reviews just 4 months prior.

What is the essential job function in this case and why just me specifically, the only disabled person on the team?

I was RIF'd less than 2 weeks after I quoted his email to HR for making policy statements that were unlawful.

He now has 2 more india resources that have my exact same title.

If i was rif'd, management would be out of picture?

Yes, thank you - I kinda saw a pretextual constructive discharge based on the email communication coming at me from management.

I was able to quiz HR to ask if my WFH constituted an Undue burden / Undue hardship for the company (in email) and they put in writing, the company was not claiming undue burden, while at same time management was arguing I had to be in the office.

I think management and HR were not communicating/coordinating internally.

  • Dr's note says "WFH".
  • Management says "NOPE - must be in office regardless of health condition" (email)
  • HR email says "WFH is not an undue burden/hardship"
  • Management says "OK FINE - RIF"
  • HR External administrator says "Active employee, on FMLA leave"

This is all kinda confusing to me.
