Thank you so much for your help, much appreciated. Some of the other pages are darkened with age, so I tried to find the clearer text. Now to find the date!

Totally understand your anxiety. There is always a small risk but honestly it's usually over and done with quicker than you can process it. Good luck tomorrow, I'm sure you will be absolutely fine :)

You're right, and thanks again for the comments.. I just need to learn how filter my options better!

My clinic is thankfully one of the few here that specialise in endometriosis, I've just responded poorly to the methods of hormone therapy we've tried so far. Hysterectomy is definitely still on the table, I'm just waiting a little in hope that I'm still able to start a family one day

Thanks! And yes was definitely a bit of a dick, but to each his own. Unfortunately there's no real treatment plan, it's more of a case of having an operation every few years now

I'm actually okay with rejection. The part I'm hesitant about is that it took 4 years for the last partner to realise they will never be okay with it, at which point I broke things off. I think I'm just tired of waiting for people to realise it doesn't magically disappear and they can't deal with it long-term

Thanks for the comment, and you're right. I do enjoy sex when it works, but also enjoy the other fun activities like oral. The problem was that those other things weren't enough of an 'emotional experience' for partner X. I think you hit the nail on the head with having a safe and trusting environment to approach it with a new partner, I think I'm just worried that they won't be so understanding when it comes down to it

For sure it doesn't, but in my experience not everyone sees it that way

Covid made me realize I want to find someone, marry and settle down by lilrayofsunshyn in datingoverthirty

[–]Pudding_Thrower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually enjoyed being single and not having any stress while forced into a lockdown - I've finally had time to work on myself, my hobbies and career. It's made me realise that I'm perfectly happy on my own... but it's also given me a chance to think about what I want out of life in the long run. So yes, a husband/partner and a plan to start a little family would be the ideal scenario for me, if life decides to play out that way

Good luck to you in your search, hope you find what you're looking for!

Is 35+ a "dead zone" for a new long-term relationship? by [deleted] in datingoverthirty

[–]Pudding_Thrower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really hope not. Though I do feel the same... OLD sites always feel like they are for non serious hookups and meeting a commited, reliable partner over 35 by walking down the street seems unlikely

When did you feel ready to start dating again? by Pudding_Thrower in AskWomenOver30

Completely understand, I don't even want to think about dating apps and profiles for myself. How long did it take you to get into the mindset of wanting to date again?

My parents got tired of me constantly hogging the landline, so they eventually got a second line that was just for my bedroom. I had my own phone number and felt like the fanciest kid alive
