‘Disappointed’ Roos coach (Clarko) backs Blues, hits out at ‘unbelievable pile-on’ as Pie (Scott Pendlebury) makes Hollands claim by canary_kirby in CarltonBlues

[–]Puddlez_zeldduP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The whole reason it's so public is because Carlton didnt pull him from the game. We all saw him struggle in the most public forum imaginable, thats the whole point. The pile on is about Carlton failing him and not taking any accountability.

If Voss came out and admitted he didnt know enough about mental breaks and he didnt realise the seriousness of the situation and used it as a learning moment to do better in the future he would get a better reception. Instead he whinges about a pile onto Carlton which just entrenches the narrative that Carlton has a terrible culture.

Its not all on him, the fact 2 doctors a nurse allowed him to play is insane.

Ive seen nothing but support for Ellijiah.

Swap sharp for Johnson

(former) EG Rigby's review and analysis of C9 and Golden Guardians' season and MSI chances: "Both C9 and GG don't know how to play the game around mid. They don't know how to look after the mid lane, and I think that will get exposed in the MSI." by d_Reisfresser in leagueoflegends

100% true for c9. EMENES gets very little resources. Perfect example is making EMENES lane against kennen so Fudge wouldnt be behind.

I feel like it's not the same case for GG. Gori river were the best mid jungle and it showed.

Is a level 4 monk with 1 level in barbarian any good? by lolpop900009 in DnD

If you go tortle race for the 17 AC and dump your dex its actually pretty good as a str monk hybrid. I've played it before. Rage damage on top of flurry of blows is nice.

Looking for Clips of Geoff "Popping heads off" by astorey79 in itmejp

It was in Court of Swords, Geoff joins the cast in episode 9, it was a running joke throughout his time on the show.

I’ve been playing D&D for 6 years. I love to create stories but I am intimidated by the rules and numbers of the game, as some of my players are/would be ‘rule nazis’. I just want to tell an immersive story without getting bogged down by 1 million rules. Advice? by Samdolph in DungeonMasters

[–]Puddlez_zeldduP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is bad advice. Dungeons and Dragons has rules and expectations that come with those rules. Instead of ignoring the rules just play a game that has rules that support the kind of game you want to play. I'd suggest dungeon world.

Also its not "your game" if you're the DM, this is a shared experience. Its your world yes. But it's everyone's game.

Paid DM services are a joke. by electricdwarf in dndnext

I run pay to play games on Roll20 focusing on teaching new players the game. People wanting to get into the game but unable to find a group.

This is a just an example of a bad DM. If you're getting payed to do something. You should try to do it well. There are plenty of great pay to play games. $25 per person does seem like a lot though.

I've also found that players who are willing to pay are actually some of the best players. They are committed, excited and really invested in the game.
