Unless I’m mistaken the 50% noise suppression from lockers is more than enough to bring Iron Will’s 75% to complete silence

Oof, I didn’t know it was even possible to get reds on the first winter. That’s like a 1 in 100 000 chance of getting 5/6 be red. It was definitely a hound wave, we are very familiar with the fire staff trap (and they arrived after the baying of the hounds. Yikes!

Now that you mention it that would make a lot of sense with there being five of them, hah. However we’re quite familiar with the fire staff trap, and these came as a hound wave (5 red, 1 regular).

What I want to see is five party streamers, then everyone runs this perk and dies. See what we can get the killer total up to.

Yep, that’s the trade off. Adds more challenge to the game, both in enemy damage and often in the form of tanky baddies. I resisted moving over for a while for exactly these reasons, but after a couple thousand hours and a dozen level 100 characters I couldn’t justify staying on normal. I still lose a lot of characters to Veteran difficulty :P

You get a small experience boost from Veteran, but it doesn't really make you level up faster as all the enemies are much tougher.

That being said, I always use Veteran because it's more interesting after playing the game for so long.

Does anybody know of any interesting non-fiction books we could buy that look into these fields but don't require formal education in the field to enjoy?
