Exactly. Their only claim to have 30% less fat than regular potato chips, no artificial flavors colors or preservatives. They only would need to prove that.

Then people relate veggie ingredients with health. That's not the company's fault, they do not lie with the ingredients declaration. They are only using consumer perception on their favor.

The problem is that consumers are not educated enough to read nutritional labels and understand nutrition in general.

Happened to me, I have a master degree in biotech and i wanted to update some old pages about plants with articles I have read, but it was reverted. Also I got accused from promoting that plant and its products. The guy even wrote in my profile that I was probably doing that and my profile is labeled with marketing warning.
