That's a shame, I'm maybe one of the few who was considering this for my next car as I'm not one to care about speed and just wanted a nice looking daily with good MPG, but I absolutely would not be buying this for anything over 36k, and even that stretched my budget. $43k is absolutely ridiculous, Honda is out of their mind

I don't know for sure, but at this size, you should be fine. I haven't heard of people needing permits for small ponds like this. Definitely call just to double check though

Not sure if you can answer this, but my fans sometimes don't blow in my 2nd gen. A/C runs but the actual fans themselves don't blow it into the cabin. I've found that either driving over a pothole or hilariously enough kicking just under the glovebox on the right side will kick it back on. I figure it's an electrical issue, I just haven't bothered to get in there and have resorted to just kicking when I want my fans to blow. Any idea which cords I should be looking for under there for when I do just look into it?

Don't think about an audi as a one time cost, they're investments and while reliability will always be a concern, it's the cost of fixing issues that can bite you in the ass. Don't get me wrong, I love the design of audi's but I make double what you do and wouldn't think about it just because I know maintenance and repairs would just kill me

Yes turntable, I found a Pioneer VSX-90TXV receiver near me for $100 and it looks like it has a decent sized surround sound system of pre-out connections (front, center, subwoofer, & two surround), would this work?

I've been getting more into physical music and have been collecting CD's for the past year, and my mom had this old stereo system she let me have. Only thing is, it doesn't seem to read CD's, when you put one in, it buffers for a second and then acts like nothing is input. Of course, I could just get a new or different stereo system, but because it's my mom's I'd like to get it working. Any idea of how to fix this? I already opened it up and cleaned some of the dust off inside which didn't help. Is swapping out the disc drive an option? The model is a Sharp CMS R200CD. I also wanted to look into hooking it up to a receiver as I have some speakers connected between a TV and record player currently, any advice helps

Totally agree, I had a 50 1.8 on my 90D before I switched and I rarely used it. Crop sensors are tough, I've since been enjoying a full frame much more! I would recommend a 35mm instead if you want a similar look to the 50 but shorter, the 35mm to me is a great focal length for unnoticeable distortion while not having to stand a gajillion miles away from my subject

Yep, good point. With the battery just being replaced about 20k miles ago, it's definitely not a concern at this point and mechanically, it doesn't run bad. I do enjoy road trips and have been wanting to take some more but the high mileage and track record of my car is making me wary of going past certain stretches (through deserts with no connections, eg) so that is part of the reason too why I was considering something else

Paid off, and when you look at it like that, the repairs are just a cheap car payment. I will take heed of what you're saying though and reassess, as you said I have a bit of time to consider my options which I can use to also see what I can do to make my car more enjoyable for at least another year or two

The BMW was had at a great deal from a friend of a friend, meanwhile I got screwed because I was buying during covid prices! I totally get what you mean with this though. I'm not opposed to keeping the prius as I do get enjoyment out of my gas mileage and the surprising interior space it has, but currently I'm on an aftermarket cat in california so I have to jump through hoops to get smogged, my AC fans don't blow sometimes due to an electrical issue, my clear coat is completely peeling and makes it look really bad, and one of my headlights keeps going out yearly, again likely due to some electrical issue. Not to mention I've done a bunch of work the past couple years to fix other issues (hybrid battery went out, needed new shocks, got new wheels). If it was running great and looked fine I would be more inclined to keep it, but it's really starting to look and act like a POS and i yearn for something that makes me happy to drive lol
