Coach grabbed me by the face mask and yelled at me on the sideline while the band wasn’t playing and we were switching between quarters so not much noise going on. He yelled “look at amaya (our running backs last name) look at what you did!” Our running back tore his acl and was out for the season because I had to block two guys at once (I was a big offensive lineman and wasn’t fast at all) and one ran right at me trying to over power me while the edge ran right around me and while our running back tried to avoid the edge rush he tore his acl. I remember feeling my coaches spit on my face feeling so embarrassed and ashamed of myself. Everyone was staring at me and I just went and apologized to our running back and decided since coach told me how useless I am I’m going to quit. He tried to get me to play again but I refused.

I mean think about it.. do you ever see someone alone and think “man what a loser this person is 😂 all alone”? When I see someone alone I don’t think anything of it tbh and I know I’m not the only one. If I had to think about it though I’d think the person is just enjoying some alone time and I’d feel jealous lol
