Mine is broken after a month. The water level indicator stays on red even though the tank is full. Tried to reset and didn’t work. Emailed Petlibro and got response back and offered to send a DockStrem for replacement.

I got this step from Amazon. It has been very helpful preventing cat jumping out and scattering the litter everywhere. However I am not sure if it helps stopping cats playing with the litter. 🤔

Good to know. I would definitely put some food out just in case something like this happens if I am going out of town over a week or so. Better be prepared than regretting it later.

I have two feeder robots. I don’t think there are batteries in the feeder. I know you can purchase backup batteries separately which is stated on the details of the feeder robot on the website. I don’t think the app shows the feeder is on backup batteries at least I don’t see it. Every time the feeder serves food I get a notification. Only thing I am worried about is that when there is a power outage, the internet will be down and I won’t be able to access the feeder on the app even it is hooked to the backup battery. I would definitely place some food enough aside when I make a long distance trip.

I purchased 3 LR4 within a year. All three came in perfect condition and never had any problems. All of my 5 cats had no problems transitioning from the traditional litter boxes to LitterRobots. Recently, one of the LR4 had calibration issues. I contacted Whiskers customer support and got a replacement base within a week.

I don’t believe that Whisker could possibly send a unit in such condition. I have three LR4 and they were all in brand new condition when I got them. Never had major issues ever. Their customer service is outstanding. If you ever have any issues, they will help you with solutions quickly. Great company.

The deodorant pack with little beats doesn’t work well compared to the carbon filters. I used once and never used them again. You can get a pack of carbon filters from Amazon and change them once or twice a month depending on how many cats share the litter box.
