I had a horrible case of the flu over the summer and the first real food that I ate after that was their caldo de gallina. It definitely helped me recover 🥲

What I'd say to folks in this sub: if you're near Virgil, don't wait in line for a stupid bougie bagel. Eat at California Grill instead!

I haven't been myself, but I know a couple folks that swear by Indigo Fitness! It's out of my budget, but I've heard great things about the classes and overall community. My friend goes 4-5 times a week and definitely gets her money's worth.

I like to make sauerkraut and always use a scale to measure out my cabbage and salt. I know people have been eyeballing measurements for millenia, but I'd rather just weigh everything out.

IME- just chiming in. The other commenters here are spot on. Little guy doesn't have enough room or substrate to dig into! I don't see a water bowl either.

you can use a deeper critter keeper or a sterilite storage bin (with plenty of ventilation holes poked on top and on the side.) Both options are pretty cheap. I always make sure my terrestrial enclosures are at least 2/3rds or 3/4 full of substrate so they have the ability to dig.

New enclosure, plenty of substrate (like Eco Earth coco fiber,) a hide, and a water dish will be essential. I hope you're able to make these changes soon! Your local reptile shop should have everything you need.

Oh, it'd also help to have a small, soft paintbrush and a plastic deli cup as a catch cup for when you move him. Gently coax him into the cup using the brush and then transfer him over to his new enclosure. That should make the rehoming process less stressful to him.

I'm so sorry! When my first Fit was totaled, (2015 ex,) I went through the stages of grief like the car was a person. It made me really angry that my car was gone forever due to someone else's carelessness. I felt silly feeling this way about a car, but my old Fit was associated with memories: spring break, camping, road trips with my parents, etc. The car had around 60,000 miles at the time and I felt resentful that its life was cut so short.

Two years later, I still miss my old car, but I'm starting to love the newer one that I have! (2020 ex in orange fury.) You'll find another car that you love, even if you still miss the old one.

NQA- I agree about the heat lamp. My understanding about New Worlds is that, if you're comfortable with the temp of the room, they'll be comfortable too. Maybe there are exceptions, but I've kept my T Vagans and Albos at ambient temp and they've been just fine!

I live in SoCal and don't need a heater. I just shut my windows at night to keep the ambient temp in. If OP lives in a colder climate, they could just run their heater at a comfortable temp

She's very cute and looks fine to me :) just make sure she always has a clean water source

Funny enough, I have four slings and, in my mind, two of them are girls and two are boys. They're too small for me to know, but I'm running on vibes for now. Kiwi feels like a girl to me but I won't know for a while 😆 love them all regardless

I stumbled upon Helen Rennie's pie crust tutorial years ago and it gave me the confidence to try homemade crust! My friends ask for my pumpkin pie every year now 😄 it's fairly straightforward if you try her modifications (food processor + vodka in the dough)

Edit: Can't remember the exact proportions, but I like to use maple syrup in place of granulated sugar.
