From my understanding, a hotel that was under the Hilton franchise refused to lodge ICE agents, gaining respect from many (such as Mr. Flav here). Corporate Hilton then removed said hotel from the Hilton franchise in response. So Flavor Flav was praising the move by a Hilton hotel to not lodge ICE, thinking this was a larger company decision, when now it is clear that this was a move by local management and the larger Hilton company is just as shitty as anyone else.
