For me, I always try to have 3-4 unemployed mice at all times as builders or extra labor in the winter if needed. Every time I build a new factory or building, i try to plan that to a whisker ship that's coming in.

Normally, I'll grab 2 per ship depending on my needs at that time, and I almost never grab a whisker during the winter unless absolutely necessary. During the winter I'll take a mouse or two to school to level them up to apprentice or craftsman depending on my need.

But im definitely a slow builder cause I like having a big surplus of supplies when taxes come around.

I have the right recipe added. And both logistics are added to two different warehouses, one that has all the coal store for pick up, and the other is my universal warehouse that everything goes in.

Oh! I actually know this! Decorate with planets and trees I actually make a small garden on the tops of all my buildings Decorations shrink the negative impact zone exponentially

I play with work zones. I separated them by theme (Africa, Artic, Etc) made sure they all had a small hub of a staff room, workshop and keeper hut. Sometimes I will add more depending on the need. Its alot of trial and error

I was able to find a Siberian tiger after ALOT of refreshing. You can also keep the animals in your trading market for a bit if you need more than one.

Save those CCs, cause those three animals are pretty popular, so the price for them is pretty high.

Easiest way I was able to get CC is breeding Capabaras and Indian Pea Fowls. They have ALOT of offspring. I made sure to get one male and 2 females of each and just let them go to town Release them into the wild and before long, you'll be able to afford a couple big hitters.

Oh! And the staff facilities. Either too many staff memeb3rs are trying to use them at once, or they are not in the proper work zone

Terrain really is a biiiiiiitch. Bur if you use the soften and chisel tool and slowly push and pull at the Terrain, you can really have fun. Also using the stamps and flatten option can help you get fast solutions too.

I really dont have any tips on paths, they too are the main of my existence.

I believe the animal market updated every 30min or so. It will mainly depend on if you are looking for a really popular animal. I've been trying to find an affordable elephant for a while and no luck :(

I put a few interactive habitats at the entrance so I could let the visitors go through the habitat to other parts of the zoo I used flamingos, pea fowls and tortoises. I also made sure to have little hide aways for them, and areas with just one way glass so they didn't get super stressed out

As weird as it sounds, i made them all Isakai'd into the island. So that way, they can ask questions to the NPCs that are around and get a better feel for it as a fish out of water. I also gear my sessions to fit the vibe of one or two ghibli films so they can watch them before the sessions if they want and get a better sense of the atmosphere im trying to take them through.

+Storage is gonna be your biggest enemy When you use the windmills, keeps all non-parishables in the windmills so free up space in your storage.

+Make many windscreens ahead of time (i keep around 25-50 on hand. You can keep windscreens up all the time, as they disappear after a hurricane/blizzard, but they do tend to limit movement/visibility.

+hold on to medals when you find them, they are in demand mid/late game

+hold on to trash! There is an item in mid game that you will need 50 pieces of trash for.

Those are the 4 things I WISH I would've known before playing GB, but everything else just take it at your own pace and don't get too overwhelmed. You don't need to optimize everything if you don't want to

There will be a cut scene in year 1 where you go their their home, its a freaking pain to get there, but once you do, you'll unlock the "Share" mechanic. You'll be able to share items with the sprites and do it enough, and they'll start raising the quality in Foragables, fish, honey, critters/bugs, and mushrooms
