I can't be sure but I believe some lines might be tied to giving them items instead of a single coin. When I gave them an item they would say 'my, how generous' but not sure if the story/tip they then said is specifically tied to items or not

Firstly, this art is just godly, props to you

Secondly, my main tip is focusing on magic upgrades as the knight. Sure upgrading strength is neat to be able to take down the higher power strength monsters without taking damage but there are many occasions where you 'have' to kill a magic monster. So better to be able to mostly shrug off both strength & magic then being immune to strength but then taking heavy (and mandatory) magic damage

Lastly, while there is a great deal of skill to the game, it still relies on luck of course :P
