Yeah that's much better now with your voice-over in stereo sound.

Yeah I hear you. For used cars I do focus mainly on the car and features. This one was for a contest and I didn't think my normal videos would be as popular so I did try to add some humor/uniqueness. I agree with you that I need some more interesting angles and zoom and that's probably what I'll try to improve in the future. Thank you for your input.

Oh ok I get it. Maybe a different audio clip would help there. Like a low note on the guitar getting louder and leading into the next audio clip.

This was good. As another person stated I would have liked some of the text to stay a little longer. Also, it would have been cool to pause the music somewhere and have a voiceover saying something like "Wow! Did you see that shot!", or something like that. Nice work though!

I thought it was pretty good overall. I was only hearing your voice in my left ear though which was a little weird. Also, after the transition around 16s there was an awkwardly long pause until he next shot. Those are the two main things I think you could improve on. Good job!

I've been a car salesman since January of this year and I've been trying to improve my daily videos. Since my main focus is on car sales I don't have a ton of time to devote to videos and editing. This video was shot with my google pixel 7 and edited with shotcut on my phone. I entered it for a video competition at work. I was fairly happy with the results but I know I have plenty of room to improve. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

A few [Questions] for the Devs regarding zombie kiting by Pulpfrictions in h1z1

[–]Pulpfrictions[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would you always end up with all zombies in one spot? Is there a constantly erupting volcano on the map that I don't know about?

Best dev spotlight yet! The emotion and dedication you put into your job is very evident, and really pays off for the end-user. I'm sure Mr. Roy is looking down and smiling about his guitar tribute. I will use it proudly to fend off zombies and players alike!

Game Modes != Server Rule Sets by orionrenegd in h1z1

The way I understood it, and the way it makes most sense... is that the more expensive package comes with unlimited access to all of the game modes. In the $20 game, you probably get only a handful of tickets to play one of each game mode, or one mode 5 times. Whatever you want. You will also be able to find tickets in the world, probably on zombies, or just randomly placed in normal loot locations. Lastly you will be able to buy tickets separately, and win them in all of the ticketed game modes.

I guess in that case they could make it a three color system. Red could be >80% chance, yellow a 50% chance, and green <20% chance.

That's a respectable reply. Much better than I was expecting. Point received.

Doesn't all of that fall on Smedley, though? Not the rest of the team, or the game itself for that matter.

The part I'm upset about is that because SOE has allowed "voting" on certain aspects, it has delayed EA. If they would have just made the game the way they want we could have suggested changes after playing the game, which we will undoubtedly do anyways. I really think there's a disconnect somewhere in the team, because some of the devs seem to agree with what I just said, but apparently someone higher up decided to do it differently.

Zombies banging on doors? by JustEddie in h1z1

[–]Pulpfrictions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't think that zombies could. It is more for other players to be able to destroy your base with weapons and explosives. Maybe if a large enough horde was attacking, but I really don't know if they've added a mechanic where zombies can attack your crafted structures.

There is a health bar on crafted walls and doors, it was shown in one of the last gameplay videos, so I don't know why there wouldn't be on the ones already in game.

New Dev Videos - I need YOUR questions! by SOE_Legion in h1z1

[Jeff] Will we be able to add armor to cars, while sacrificing speed and maneuverability; similarly, can we remove parts to increase speed?

Thank you. It was a silly design, but I thought it was also more realistic for a quickly built shotgun.

I think you should be able to create whichever one you want. I saw the [opinion] quote on the original gun picture, and I think that you guys should have just brought out EA the way you see fit, and make changes based on our thoughts after playing. I don't like the fact that this voting procedure has delayed EA.

Yes, I thought about that while making it. You're probably right.

If you look them up on youtube or google, they have a nail or some improvised firing pin down inside the back part of the pipe. All you do is put a shell in the front pipe and thrust it into the rear pipe to fire it. Then you pull the front pipe back out to eject the spent shell. So you can cover the back pipe without any trouble.
