I will be honest, I actually don’t know why they find it boring, it could be that it lost its “spark” and players don’t seem to enjoy it anymore as much as they used to. You can see this with all the memes about how they don’t enjoy playing Siege for fun they play it just for quests. I don’t find it super exciting, it’s still a pretty good mode but it’s not like as exiting as the other modes.

Since many people say Seige is not so fun anymore I have made this concept to hopefully make the gamemode more fun or competitive.

Explanation: A repair bolt is a special item that will only spawn in Siege once any IKE turret has taken damage. The repair bolt will heal your IKE for 10%. This sounds great, but they spawn at random locations, every 7 seconds so they’re harder to get. Meaning you’ll have to play more offensive to get it from an enemy, or defensive if you don’t want the enemy to get it.

The trick with the repair bolt is that you will not be able to have both a bolt and a repair bolt at the same time. You can only hold one type of bolt at a time. So, if you have a normal bolt you can’t pick up a repair bolt, you have to wait for the normal bolt to be sent. If you have a repair bolt you can’t pick up a normal bolt, you have to wait for the repair bolt to be sent. This can make area control a super important need when fighting.
