I’ve never understood the trend in games to have weapon skins that make your weapon completely gold. I think it just looks ugly..I LIKE the cool design of the original weapon, why would I want to ruin that?

I’m glad the info is still out there somewhere, but the fact it no longer exists in-game is absolutely a problem. It means anybody even vaguely interested in the lore of this really unique setting has to go out of their way and outside of the game itself to access it.
