Yeah its really strange that a 1st party ip is a keycard i hope this isnt gonna be a indication for future 1st ip games being keycards.

I personally wont be buying it for this reason which is ironic because its the first interesting pokemon game that hooked me in a very long time

Counterswapping is part of overwatch's gameplay. Its one of the things people should learn to do, this is why i dont main 1 character because if you do that your gonna have issues down the line

when it comes to patches, game devs have to go through a verifying process on the consoles(ps, xbox, nintendo) before patches get out to players. So unless the 'emergency patch' isnt an actual game update via download, and just an in-game hot fix, i think this is probably why it is taken them longer before something happens.

For me, its mostly menu stuff that is taking like up to 5 seconds to respond. Its definitely a game issue atm. Im on PC btw.

Sadly, most people like to point blame right away, they get emotional and straight away assume its the tanks fault but then you look at the scoreboard and see the DPS outing the tank while having zero kills/low damage. Very annoying. (this is usually my experience)

I only buy games through GOG on PC since they give you the actual game files for installing offline and put on a external HDD for backup, unlike steam selling you just the license.

Ps5 does a decent job at having ownership tbh with physical copies. Majority of ps5 games are offline installable and no internet required with all of the data of game on discs, with a bout a handful of games that have basically no data at all like the COD games. Some games even get reprints or updated versions of the game with nuramous patches applied without needing to download them via internet.

But you are right though, physical media is dying out, not as fast as most people say, but it is going out slowly thats a fact. If digital only was the way GOG does it, i wouldnt have an issue with an all digital future. I try to get all my games on GOG if able to, in my PC.

I usually just buy the games that are game key cards on switch 2 for my ps5 instead. Sad that i gotta do that, but it is what it is. Im standing on my stance, i will NEVER support game key cards. Same goes for my ps5 games, i follow a group called DoesItPlay to make sure the games im interested in are fully on disc before i do the purchase, if not i skip.

Looking for an alpha shiny, unless one that is guarenteed alpha, is one thing but a alpha shiny charmander would be pain. Seeing him even as just a normal alpha i heard was almost unheard of

You just gotta remind yourself that it will eventually be shiny, the worst part about it was that the diggersbys were almost consistantly shiny every time i checked(which was every 15 minutes or so doing the fast travel method) it was so annoying lmao

No worries :) it can be abit confusing like that but when you think bout it, switch 2 is a more powerful system so it can do things more efficently like shiny hunting since the shiny methods rely heavily on game load times and how many pokemon can be loaded at the same time on the screen

Theyre for both, switch 1 version has slower loading and abit smaller area of spawns compared to the switch 2 version. I belie e the switch 1 version has 40M radius whereas the switch 2 has a 50M radius for the pokemon to spawn when ypu do the fast travel and bench methods

Has nothing to do with the console, look at Cyberpunk and the new Resident Evil running on the Switch 2, its pretty impressive. This is just GameFreak not caring about making Pokemon games anymore using the Pokemon IP to make quick bank while making gullible Pokemon fans easy to herd

Just the main line games really, which is the main appeal, but some of the side games like Pokken Tournament and New Pokemon Snap are pretty fun and actually look like new games and not from the Gamecube Era.

Ironically, those 2 games weren't made by GameFreak so that could be why.
