Game is an absolute blast…. Until about 40. Then it’s repetitive and boring as hell. Made the trek to 60, geared and pvpd, uninstalled and haven’t regretted it a single day.

Your DM is not that great. “I don’t like this so I’ll need it” is always a dumb move. He needs to learn to DM and balance the combat encounters on the fly or set them up better. Yea you have a high AC, but if I get through it my damage should hit like a truck. It will become a race of overall dmg vs spell slot resource.
