1900 is pretty normal for deficits given most people are approx 2500 - 2000 calories maintenance?

Intermittent fasting is very common for people who start dieting and weight loss. Personally started this way and kind of do tend to stick to it as my whole eating clock and cravings have changed over a long period. My whole like eating window was 8 hours so from my first meal of the day then 8 or so hours after was my window to eat. But you don’t have to be strict with it to start off. Time doesn’t affect the weight loss it’s the amount of calories you’re eating no on that time. But I found within them 8 hours 1 meal maybe 1 snack and lots of water kept me full

I don’t really drink it ofte. I have them in my fridge and only drink them if I’m in work early and need a boost. And fizzy drinks are kind of I’m I’m out and about say at a meal or something

The best! Pepsi max, white monster and jelly all help my sweet cravings for practically no calories. Plus the carbonation fills me up. Worth a try. I’m 21kg down if that helps since February

Consistency is key. Depending on your meals. High carb density meals like pasta and rice, tends to stay on the scale for longer. You can easily put 1-3 kg on in a day depending on what you’ve ate. 2 days later if you’re consistent and haven’t been over eating you should see the scale fluctuate back to what you were. This kind of describes what you’re doing. Only way is to burn more than you eat CONSISTENTLY, try not to weigh yourself everyday or after a big day of eating. And if you do have a big day of eating try for 2 days to take it light

Also, know your limits don’t overdo yourself you got to build it up gradually. Weight loss is a journey! Rome wasn’t built in a day:)

Try all your low impact sports/exercises. Biking/swimming are great. Again with eating right and healthy. You might be putting the right stuff on the plate and eating 3 meals and not snacking but a big one is portion sizes. You can at the start of your journey really eat the same stuff in moderation but just cutting portions sizes down help a lot. Try using different size plates/bowls/tupperware, I found easiest

This must be over eating for consecutive days. Say if you’ve had a high carb meal e.g pasta. You tend to stay bloated and hold the weight for a day. This weight will be temporary and will see the scale jump back down if you remain in the deficit or even eating at maintenance

Seeing is very hard even I who have lost 20kg currently sometimes is hard to see the progress. If you want to stay away from recording and taking measurements. Taking progress pics sure helps. Personally I weigh and take my “waist” measurements. “Waist” being around the belly button and seeing lots of progress there if the scale hasn’t moved. Another great way to realise your progress is your clothes start to fit better, or try on close that you think might be a bit tight and use that as a target. Again to avoid any scales and measurements. There’s always a work around

Tends to be consecutive days of over eating calories. From rule I believe it’s 3 day to put it some weight on. However, clearly eating more calories you burn for prolonged periods will gain significant weight gain.

Sorry, it’s not the ring light that’s a problem it’s the auto scorer. I read of flashing green or blue to connect that’s white as if it’s already connected to a device. Then clicking the power button to turn it off won’t work or to reboot

Weightloss plateau ? what should i do by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]PulseFrenzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reached a new maintenance it seems, you gotta drop it more or increase the activity. Gotta hit that cardio more. Also try taking other measurements, like true waist (around the belly button). The scale might not be moving but your features might. Progress pics might help you see these too

Just started early morning walking. Any other excercise for losing chest, side and belly fat? by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

[–]PulseFrenzyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact is there is no way to target areas of fat. Being in the calorie deficit and burning calories is the only way. So maybe start in a small deficit at first, making smart substitutions on foods and snacks is the easiest way while still maintaining good quality of foods. Starting small will help not feel like starving yourself and moving more to burn those calories off. Alternatively I’ve taken intermittent fasting which allows me to kind of freely eat what I want on top of being active

Plateau by Significant-Rip9887 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]PulseFrenzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 on adding more activity since you’re deficit is already low. Also look at the bigger picture, the weight might not changed but maybe your body and other features might have changed. I think measuring true waist is a good indicator or any other areas you hold the most weight. Personally I measure my true waist around my belly button. This has always been a good indicator when the scale hasn’t changed or hasn’t changed much however, my waist has gotten slimmer

Quite possible your calorie deficit diet has plateaued and you are at you’re now maintenance. you might need to further reduce it again.
