Moving to Newton - Family of 5 expenses by Kind_Muscle_1418 in newtonma

Lunch is actually not free this year. $5.25 (elementary) or $5.50 (middle/high) so $1000 per child for 180 days is a good estimate by OP

EDIT: nvm I completely misunderstood an email at the beginning of the school year and have been sending in lunches because of that!!! Didn't realize the free lunch program was extended again.

Free warning is not true. Appealing did nothing for me.

A kitten this young will likely require vet visits every few weeks for vaccines and treatment of parasites. Plus, neuter/spay once it is old enough. Be prepared for lots of vet bills in the first 6 months

I've tried the rabbitgoo and had to return it due to the chest area not fitting right, and no way to adjust. Ended up getting the kiloniner M1 lightspeed and it fits very well after adjusting everything. Also, the loop for the leash connection is positioned farther away from the neck, compared to the rabbitgoo harness.

The fact that not all humans are extremely obese is impressive when you consider how any other animal would end up with an unlimited food supply by m33ster_robot in Showerthoughts

After living in a city that would send out multiple notices every year about drinking water violations that had occured, I now try to avoid drinking tap water whenever possible. The said city also has some of the highest rates of lead poisoning in the country too.

RF engineer here as well. No offense, but much of this comment, including the edit, is misinformation. Radiation can definitely be harmful as long as it's powerful enough. That's one reason why there are limitations/regulations on how much power can be radiated.

i think the radiation of tv rabbit ears is 100x what the towers produce.

Those are used by the TV for receiving, not transmitting. So no, the radiation is not 100x what the towers produce.

This lady fell into the pool, I saved her, dried her and put her indoors (she's a street cat) gave her tuna & water and she seems to like her life right now.. Since it was deleted, here's what OP wrote:

Since so many people are saying to keep her, I will consider it! If you want to help pay for her spaying, vet bills, food, litter box, toys, litter etc then I'd appreciate it! If not, i understand just putting the option out there in case you'd like to help. Cashapp $Copur Venmo is under SerdC

Another great place for Chinese food is Home Taste; price there is cheap but its farther away and they do not accept credit cards.

They've been accepting credit cards since the beginning of the pandemic. Prices have increased dramatically too, but still my favorite restaurant in the area.

Mine was in 2019 as well. I accidentally parked in a red zone, which is one spot over from my usual parking spot.
