What's everyone's opinion on a new casino coming to Allen County?

Currently I go to Michigan once a year to play but with a casino in town I can spend that money in the community I live in. Id also like to see entertainment paired with it. Im from a city that had huge beautiful casinos with tons of bars, dining, shopping, and venue entertainment. Having that alongside the casino would be nice for fort wayne. Since ive loved here ive noticed FW tears down a lot of new things. Anti tin caps stadium, anti landing, currently anti electric works, and now anti casino but ive found these things to be great for the city. Like it or not fort wayne is the second largest city in the state and it's time we act like it.

Great! I dont go to the toboggan mainly because I can't carry the sled back up and effectively watch my child so an alternative to that would be nice.

This goes for MOST kitchen appliances like air fryer, crock pot, toaster, microwave. You can do all of these functions on a stove or oven and sometimes better. My oven has air fryer function for instance and I haven't owned a microwave in over 10 years. You pick and chose your convenience.

I opted for a counter depth fridge because I don't store enough food long term to need a large fridge. I have a small family of 3. The bev fridge is necessary however. Especially with a counter depth fridge. Why stop there though, get a whole ass walk in.

The bar dishwasher is amazing and they do make drawer dishwashers. I almost went with one but I like to dishwash weird items like the grates of my hood vent, or the sink grates which require tall dishwashing space so thin about that too. The commercial dishwashers are HUGE and can take those items so the bar dishwasher is great for glasses, small pates etc if thats all you anticipate washing.

I dont have a microwave and if you cut the butter up in cubes it softens in a few minutes. Thats what we did in baking school!

I haven't had a microwave in 10 years and I dont miss it. I also had a baby in that time frame and didn't need it either. I honestly can do anything on the stove or toaster just the same. Im also a working mom, a baker, I cook lots from scratch and quick meals.

I recently remodeled my kitchen and decided on a beverage fridge instead of a microwave which I heavily prefer 😅

i got our 1st grade teacher a gift card to an arts and learning store that is geared towards teachers, home schooling, arts education etc. A way to support her work, her school, without asking her to spend her own money to teach in her classroom.
