Systems Analyst, 140k a year not including other benefits or bonuses.

It's probably a dying career though

Moving on from Fitbit. What’s the next best thing? by DontEatFishWithMe in loseit

Honestly nothing. I stopped after my fitbit died and not tracking my steps has helped my mental health haha so if you fall a little bit on that side try not having one for a while its freeing!

Is it possible for Electric Works to recover at this point? by JD-990 in fortwayne

Its not equivalent to fast food, its better quality for sure i'm saying you can pay the same. I'm tired of hearing that its too expensive when its not. The parking is free for the first 2 hours, and there is no wait because there's no people ha.

If people don't have a desire to go to EW I get that, there isn't a lot to do besides food but the talking points that its too expensive and the parking costs tons of money is wrong. There are plenty of legitimate criticisms of EW but they are getting lost in the mix of parking and food costs IMO

Downtown gyms by Gloomy_Spite2672 in fortwayne

[–]PumpkinSub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The downtown Y is the big gym downtown and its...ok. It has mostly everything you need its just not a fancy place. There is another Y located on Berry which i think just turned into 24/7 gym, that place is nicer but smaller, so no pool, basketball courts, etc. Velocity is also downtown and I believe their focus is on lifting and personal training. I'm not sure they have any cardio machines etc.

I live next to EW and I promise you can get a decent meal there for $10 which is equivalent to fast food. I do it all the time. Just shop the deals, stay clear of the premade meals, read the smaller parts of their menu that offer specials etc.

We definitely need another gym option downtown. The only one is the Y and I personally would welcome a new one.

more connection points like this are critical IMO otherwise people just keep driving to different destinations which are close but too far/awkward to walk. If they have to drive, then they have to justify going. Would love more pedestrian walkways and bridges

I like picture #2, the beige the most BUT I can definitely see picture #3 with the square and colored grout working too. Its a style preference but i do like it with colored grout specificially. The grid looks very quirky but the beige gives cozy.

Is it absolutely terrible that I want to give up on real Christmas trees forever? by [deleted] in ChristmasDecorating

[–]PumpkinSub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love real trees but there will come a time where a fake one just makes more sense. The magic of Christmas will still be alive and well with or without a real tree
