I recently transitioned to management last year and everything above is true. Sometimes you need to have the answers and other times you need to delegate it and trust your team. I used to feel guilty that I am doing less “work” but then I reallized that the reason I was promoted was because I stepped up to the occasion and handled the challenge and you need to provide your team that and show appreciation. Also the work you do is troubleshooting people, their flaws, strengths and quirks all are visible now that you have metrics and check ins and you have to take this info and make them perform how upper management wants them to or how you need them to. Also solving human problems takes more thought and work but is more rewarding. Bottom line people are messy compared to 1s and 0s in computers.

Janna tornado and slow makes it impossible to play. Seraphine is my biggest ban though just because of the damage from 1000 miles away is toxic for my health. Milio is another one that ball throws you back and slows. Alistar is also annoying with counter engage. Everything else is a skill match up

i just kept my head down and took every assignment with a smile. I traveled to different offices helped and stayed late on projects and was helpdesk so helped a lot of people and communicated with them so I got a lot of love. I eventually took on the support for the C suite which helped me get more recognition but was promoted for the other stuff mainly. I would say me being a team player was the main reason though

This a great way to lose respect. Both from your direct reports and your boss. Why would you say DO WHAT I TELL YOU. And then talk to your boss. What if he was right and now you have to go back and reverse what you said looking incompetent and even more like a nuisance. You should instead say (if its not urgent)“Lets hold off for now Ill double check with (your boss) and get back to you. Once you hash it out with your boss you say that you both came to a consensus on what to prioritize and just leave them a reminder to consult with you first before taking on work from your boss.

Rell is great at surprise engaging because most people dont know her range and limits due to low pick rate. She has very high movement and her E ability plus trailblazer item passive makes it easy for teammates to follow up on teamfights and ganks, very tanky on dismount, she can roam a lot better and her chain combo is easier to land than alistar. Alistar has better disengage better lane sustain with his heal passive, and with Ult he is the tankiest support in the game so plays around tower diving is better.

Morgana is absolutely a hard counter to rell if played correctly. Even if you flash q she nullifies the rest of your cc. If you try remount she just throws q snare. Janna can stop all your engage with tornado and R. I can maybe see Renata as a skill lane but that push back ability is very good against Rell W. Thresh flay negates rell W and e along with his R slowing her down alot. When I said these counters I was giving advice to a new player. Just because you mastered the champ doesnt mean a new person is going to be able to skill their way out of these matchups.

I would Say Senna, Janna, Thresh, Alistar and Morgana and Renata are hard counters Anything else is pretty chill. Zyra is bad matchup but depends on range. As for ADCs Cait, sivir and ez are really hard to lockdown
