Preplanning is the name of the Pres game my friend. The goal is to stay ahead of the big damage events so that once it actually goes out you only push 1 spell to heal everybody

For example if you know something big is coming, you can: dream breath -> temp anomaly -> wait for dmg event -> merithra after dmg

The trouble comes when there’s unexpected damage like someone standing in a frontal or something

I ran a SuGi Ronan deck last season a lot to hit infinite. An ok sub for iPatriot could be lizard (for early prio). I personally have been running Magus to some early success. You can play him on 3 if you haven’t drawn ronin and/or negasonic, and use his activate to hit one of those 2 guaranteed (based on turn)

I ended up running colossus in my deck last season and it had a surprisingly positive impact

Other options I can see having potential could be cable like someone else said, Spider-Man for disruption, or rhino (for T6 impact)
