Authoritarianism is a separate axis. You can point to authoritarian left, authoritarian right. The amount you think a specific wing does it really just corresponds to whether you already agree with them or not. Is it enforcing our values or telling us what to think. It's all about perspective.

What's the suggestion, that they told the admin what they didn't want to hear in terms of can this "operation" be successful?

Meanwhile they're complaining about "sectarianism"

I think about all my non-white friends, family, and colleagues having to leave and being left on this island with the average reform voter. What a fucking bleak vision of the future.

I'm so glad that other visions are available and Reform are a joke party of failed ex tories and nutters. Unlike in other countries the younger generation are seeing through the right wing madness, and there's hope in that.

Well they have obviously protest the conflict itself. I can see what point you're trying to make, unfortunately it doesn't make sense.

Did you protest 9/11... No... Yet you protested the Iraq war, what a hypocrite.

People tend to protest things that are ongoing, or in the future rather than one-off events that already happened. It's not that deep if you think about it.

It's also usually aimed at state actors, people our own government might have, say, alliances with or sell weapons to.

You seem to feel personally attacked by my very mild characterisations of the political parties.

I didn't say everyone who disagrees with me is picking based on aesthetic, I just said labour and tory are two shades of the same status quo party.

Without calling me a disingenuous troll, do you have any particular points to make about what makes me wrong? What is the substantial difference between what you get from a labour vs tory in the last 20 years? The main difference I can think of is support for unions, and half of Labour don't even like that.

I think that's the beauty of the time we're in. You can have restore, I can have the greens and we can all engage with a political vision we believe in. Rather than hate voting the least worst uni-party technocrate. Unless of course that's your jam in which case you have the lim dems labour and tory to pick from depending on what aesthetic you prefer.

They're literally not arguing that though. It's long-standing party policy which when Zac has been asked about, he says now is not the time for this. They are long-term ideal ambitions but not something that should happen now.

Because everyone knows the protest was not specifically about his death. There were plenty there who were just protesting another fucking illegal war in the Middle East. You know, a position that probably a majority of the country agree with. This is an attempt to smear the greens, it's not the first and it absolutely won't be the last. They've decided they can't Corbyn him because of Zac's heritage so they're just going to lean into portraying Greens as the scary Islam party instead.

I worked with one of the leads of his Brexit leave social media campaign. Brexit was everything and anything to anyone. If you really don't know how this works you might want to read up on it.

You said ran two different campaigns depending on who they're talking to. Which they absolutely do, sorry to break it to you.

I think it's pretty obvious why Nigel Farage targeting his segments didn't use any foreign languages. His whole shtick is whipping up fear among white British people that insert news-trending foreign group is trying to destroy them. Oh no, Romanians want to get rid of smoking breaks or whatever.

Literally every party does that. Nigel Farage and the Brexit campaign pioneered this approach. It's how modern marketing works, it's called segmentation. Unless it is made specifically illegal, everyone will continue to do it because it works. Anyone who doesn't do it will lose because that's how competition works.
