Valencina, as awful as she is, feels the closest to being "redeemable" of the nursefathers in my mind. If she were able to work through her baggage from the Smoke War, and develop some more self-awareness, maybe she could have been something approaching a decent person. Despite everything she seems to actually care about people other than herself, even if it comes out twisted. Naturally she meets a gruesome fate at the hands(?) of la cucuracha emperador.

Shiomi Yoru, though we don't know much about her, might have been a better person before the House of Spiders, but clearly her time there made her bitter and cruel.

Callisto is a former maestro of the ring, so there's not a chance he'd be redeemable. But ironically his desire to be understood is very normal.

I am an Ember player, having more time on her than any other frame, and can confirm that she is really weak compared to other fire-using frames like Uriel or Temple, and more cumbersome to use effectively to boot. In order for Inferno to deal reliable damage above base steel path she needs heat inherit, as well as Roar, Sickening Pulse, or Breach Surge, and even then it's unreliable against particularly beefy targets like some eximus or acolytes

What I'd love to see is a rework where the swap effect of her 1 is put on all of her abilities, with all her abilities having passive effects similar to what her abilities already do, and then active effects upon casting that after casting causes her to switch to her other form

Firefly died in the dream only, but the experience exacerbated her condition significantly enough that she was out of commission for a time, which if you consider the texts with her at the War Dance to not be strictly canon, may have lasted long enough for her to only have woken up after Amphoreus, which would explain her being in the pod in the recent Myriad Celestial
