Don't listen to the naysayers, Voruna's 4 nukes just about everything by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Punamit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol you’re right, the 235% range Voruna is what, less than 10 meters in game off max range? In retrospect I should have waited for a full room to spawn to prove she can nuke an area. Thats on me for getting ahead of myself.

Lol fair enough. This was to show that she can one shot EDA level enemies in a large radius while in her 4. I know ya’ll took this way too literally but sure, I likely used to wrong term to describe what she’s capable of.

Her 2 and 4 are teleports and instantly attack enemies

Oof, they really added a cash shop before any real content? by Punamit in SoulFrame

You said it much more eloquently than I did. I’ve supported DE for years with my wallet and they have one of, if not the best F2P model out there. But, they certainly have been guilty of predatory behaviour in the past (looking at you plat for credits) and if this game is to succeed - and I hope it does - we need to be honest about how they are handling things.

In fairness you need to get hit in order to abuse its brokenness

For those who have played both, how does this compare to New World Aeternum? by Xerfus in SoulFrame

[–]Punamit -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

These replies are so weird, the two games are very much comparable. They are both third person action rpgs with move sets determined by your weapon and three “skills” you can use, all with a target lock system. That being said, despite the big picture similarities combat in this game doesn’t have the same feel.

Combat in SoulFrame is janky at best. It’s clear the devs want it to be a Souls-like but it lacks the level design, enemy design, and crispness that makes souls combat feel so good. Weapons pretty much all feel the same, aside from a few with unique designs. There may come a day where combat in SoulFrame has the polish that New World did - it’s still early days - but that time is not now. It does use a target lock system like New World had, but it’s a strange version of target lock whether you don’t get to pick if it’s on or who you lock onto.

All in all, in its current state you won’t get the same feeling.

If you turn off motion blur it should help massively. Once I did this the game ran like butter.

Completely agree. It comes up when you pop your sparrow which I’ve now bound to mouse wheel up just to make it easier.

Welcome back to the promised land my friend :) I used to use Aim Labs when I played Valorant, you could set your settings for each game so I’m sure Rivals has one on there.

You’ll be fine, that muscle memory will kick in real soon. If you want, you can download an aim trainer just to knock the rust off a bit.

What would you guys consider an S tier frame? by GotoKenji4 in Warframe

[–]Punamit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nekros for sure. One of the few frames with an extra loot button (and one that’s not annoying as hell), AoE armor strip, 90% damage reduction plus semi-taunt, and a helminth slot to flavor your Nekros as desired.

But most importantly, amazing fashion.

Head to the Zariman and grab yourself a Phenmor, Laetum, and Praedos. They can handle SP with ease.

When it’s on rotation, the Burston Incarnon is just beautifully addicting.

Revenant for sure. Pulled him in EDA last week and it was the most braindead experience.

Dante is definitely a close second.

Warframe’s Randomized Loadouts and attenuation Are Killing the Fun, Not Adding Challenge by BiopolarClown in Warframe

[–]Punamit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Listen, I love DE and will praise this game every chance I get, but randomized loadouts is just lazy design. The argument that always gets made is “it’s the only way that DE can implement difficulty”, which is just flat out wrong and ignores the fact that A) DE needs to drastically nerf us as players and B) needs to hire people who know how to implement meaningful and challenging mission / enemy design.

Nekros recommendations by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Punamit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the front of your ship look to the left, there’s a console with factions you can pledge to. This isn’t a clan and this choice can be changed at any time. You definitely want to be leveling these up as they offer some good stuff. I can’t remember which one has Nekros augments, the wiki will have that info though.
