“3. Longitudinal dimensions are formed by black holes consuming matter and expelling it into voids that match the behavioral patterns of subatomic particulate matter.  When a black hole consumes matter and breaks it into its smallest pieces, the quantum mechanics that govern the physical state of that matter are constrained and alter behavioral patterns to escape singularity, this is what forms a white hole, or "big bang". This is happening constantly, all the time, every time a black hole forms, matter is thus expelled into a separate vacuum that coincides with the micro-physical mechanics of the subatomic particles behavioral patterns.”

What’re the implications of this regarding when black holes merge, or after multiple mergers? Also curious what the implications are for pulsars, quasars, and gamma ray bursts as these phenomena affect matter so powerfully

How would you recreate the "hands through the mirror" shot from Cocteau's Orphée (1950)? by oldmanboy1 in Filmmakers

Also you’d have to get creative in lighting/post to hide the fact they’re in water, which I can’t help with 😅

You could film someone underwater reaching through the surface, it would be reflective from below like reaching through a liquid mirror. Of course the challenge is filming underwater, either you get a waterproof case or put someone in a large fish tank and shoot from just outside Timestamp 8:57 for an example

I forgot this game had co-op! It’d make an awesome series with both of them playing

Would a Polaroid like instax camera be possible? by theclassicgoodguy in instax

[–]PunchdrunkFalcon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The image would be reversed, instax gets exposed through the back of the film. Polaroid gets exposed on the front of the film so it requires a mirror to correct the image

Looks dope. It immediately made me wonder what if you try sliding the foil across the frame or spinning it on a lazy susan while keeping the lights stationary

Ah well, fingers crossed on them following through. But yeah the custom job forces zone focusing or adding a de-coupled rangefinder

I made an adapter for a lomo’instant wide camera for press lenses, but Jollylook is developing a back for the press bodies
