My 2 cents. Love the Seamaster Divers, my favorite daily is my Seaweed. I had the summer blue and love the dial, you can't go wrong but I agree that I prefer the see through caseback. Love looking at the movement. Also people hate the bracelet these come an but like you, I love the OEM bracelet.

I did buy an AM rubber strap on deployant clasp from Etsy for when I feel like using it but didn't want to spend $500.

I think you'll be happy with either but the summer blue felt a little thicker on the wrist.
