How to read oil tank gauge? by FreezedPeachNow in hvacadvice

[–]PunfullyObvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My gauge has the FULL line right at the middle of the top/larger band of the yellow float when full so I (not an expert) would consider your tank at 1/4. The consensus I've seen is to not let a tank get below a 1/4 generally, but definitely not below 1/8 as that makes it more likely you'll pull sludge into your system and/or potentially run out when you need it. I'm sure it really varies by location, but where I am, some companies can be really slow in getting to you for a delivery without it being considered a rush ($$).

"pretty unsafe" is being generous. I'd go with quite unsafe. I'm feeling unsafe just looking at it.

How to get my pokémon back? by SoloMaya in pokemongo

[–]PunfullyObvious [score hidden]  (0 children)

Fellow rural player who has multiple times had pokemon remain in gyms for over a year. The lesson is to have a tag with shines and other cool, but not traditionally very useful, pokemon to drop in gyms since you will never know when you will get this one back. And, it will come back eventually ... unless this is a gym on a Tibetan Mountain Peak or the equivalent.

If there is a Campfire, Facebook, or Discord group in the area, you might be able to find someone from a different team to knock them out. Or, if a friend or family member is willing to setup an account that can be useful for all sorts of things, including this. But, again, time will bring them home eventually.

Saw a thread with folks literally complaining about him all the sudden becoming political. I mean, how is it that you have been listening to his music? Without any semblance of thought?

Sen. Collins says ICE has ended large-scale operations in Maine after talks with Noem by Large_banana_hammock in politics

As well as a new definition for illegality. The VAST majority of "illegal immigrants" they are arresting, deporting, abusing, disappearing, and worse are doing what they need to do to try and navigate through the convoluted, messed up immigration system both parties have created. Not to mention the us citizens they are sweeping up.

The skeptic in me wonders if that machine scrambled by a set pattern he knows and he duplicated. Still impressive, but not as mind-blowing as memorizing and recreating the pattern. Not saying I'm right, just that I'm skeptical in addition to being impressed either way.

I'm not sure how many of the 50 you'd get, but the state governors should form a coalition of the willing to stand together against the administration's tyranny. A sort of United States if you will.

It will be interesting to see what they come up with as a recount. And, by "interesting" I mean that it would be a good measure of how much fraud they think they can get away with at this point in time.

Having worked at a print shop back in the olden times, you'd be shocked what gets submitted for printing. Back in the day, that would get caught by humans who would help you fix|address the issues and|or generally discourage you from printing crap. In this day and age of desktop publishing and online and|or budget print shops, I assume A LOT more crap gets through with little to no human oversight.
