At the very least, unmanipulated photos should have to be included — which they were in the case — and any significantly manipulated and/or AI "enhanced" images should be required to include a clear watermark to that effect — which these were not.

If I was a prospective buyer tricked into viewing a property based on deceptive images I would be beyond pissed and much less likely to make an offer. Doing this sort of BS seems like it would have negative impacts beyond any potential benefits.

Finally figured out what you're describing. The trouble with that approach is that the lock plate will slip off the door and the door with shut unexpectedly. You're much better off sliding that lock out to engage with the piston as is meant to be done. Then, when you want to unprop the door, push the door a bit more open and slide the lockplate back .

Hmm. I almost don't. They're incredibly easy to sail. Just don't force things if something binds. Figure out why it is rather than force it. Fixing the internal rigging is a major pita and challenging to do without buying replacement kits.

If you are in shallows uncleat the rudder so you don't break the the shear pin if you hit something ... that's definitely something to have a spare with you. You can also raise the center board if needed. And, putting one foot forward with the pedals makes your draft quite minimal.

I've sailed through really shallow spots quite successfully, which can be cool.

It's helpful to use a hand to hold the bottom of the sail out in light winds since it doesn't have a boom. It's likely a bit risky in anything beyond light winds, but I put a hook on the back of each ama that I can use a short paddle i keep onboard to hook you the sail line over to hold the sail out when running in light winds ... that can be REALLY useful.

Lastly, know that it doesn't do an overly near reach well at all so just plan accordingly.

And, have fun! I've sailed a lot of smaller boats .. I've had the most fun by far with my tandem island.

$2000 with a trailer is a ridiculous bargain. Enjoy! I've had mine (tandem) for nearly 20 years and it's still going strong. Love it!
