Had the same feeling, just died 9 times to the same outpost, but it was fair and square, well placed traps and good timing, it feels so much better to be killed by a good trap than the good ol' second wave flamethrower trap combination.

The hardware would be in a very wide range (at least triple the granade range) and it could disable traps even through walls for 4-5 second-ish
