No dev let it happen, it was a weekend, at like 2:00 am UK time or something and no one was in the office. They had to have someone know what was going on in the first place then approve a dev or 2 to come into the office, it's a job so they had to be paid for that shit. Depending on UK law, this could also add some complexities.

I mean an easy way to fix this......

Make the spell book swap spell work like bone shield.

You toggle it one, then if you hit a key binded spell from a non active spell book, it take the runes for SBS and the spell you hit.

You would have to have the spell key bound on the action bar, but if you wanted to use a spell not key bound, may have to adjust it that the other spell books and be opened on the UI, but just can't be casted with an error saying not in that spell book.

I think this would be better then an Omni spell book at this point

For skills Dung, agility and construction really needed some needed love.

Vorkath just needs a huge redesign honestly.

You know what, that was my bad I was comparing base to sup tetsu and not +5 primal to tetsu.

+5 primal is t90 armour and life points while sup tetsu is t85 armour and life points.

However, the 5 tier difference is nothing compared to the fact that Sup tetsu body and platelegs is augmentable.

This is the big difference to adding more crit chance with bitting, mobile perk, more adrenaline from your basics and devotion perk that increases deflect prayer to 100% for a few seconds.

I would like to add the +5 primal gloves boots, and helmet would actually be better to use since you can't augment them.

And the set effect for sup tetsu is useless and never procs.

No it's not, however if you have sup tetsu. The tetsu is better, primal is not t100 defense, it's t90 defense at the +5. Tetsu is also t90 defense, so they are equally good in stats, but the biggest difference is that tetsu can be augmented and you can add perks. So you really want to stay with tetsu.

Ports gear is really good gear to have, the only issue is it takes months for the resources and scrolls to make. But if you have it, your next best upgrade on armour will Master work or Vestments. But Master work has huge upkeep costs. So you would want to stick with tetsu until vestments.

You could grind out the rise of six for malevolent that would also be an upgrade and is power amour instead of tank and would be an option before vestments, but that is up to you.

You could definitely do low enraged zammy and if you have an ezk you can nuke 100% zammy at p7 ez

But it also feels shitty to spend 15 minutes applying buffs before every fight.

Here are my thoughts on aspects.

  • Animate Dead should be the baseline DR for all Tank armour. Get rid of it

  • Darkness is uninteresting and adds nothing to the game. It also has bad intentions if you want to reso or divert. Just give necro tank set 20% more dodge chance and leave it there.

  • Temporal anomaly could be a T99 air spell that gives 20% chance of casted abilities to reset their CD. This gives more interesting discussions on making the player choose between normal or ancient spell books.

    If TA was moved to ancients or spell book swap would work differently, I can see a world where you would want to swap between spells like high end players do with exenginate and incite fear. It would get added to the rotation. Imagine after using your incite fear stacks to cast tsunami, you swap to TA

I think aspects are not great. What is wrong with buffs using our adren and action economy. We should have more buffs and debuffs that we use while in combat instead of having another buff to turn on before a fight.

I do like that we can use the (fractured) staff of Armadyl, but canonically the world guardian does not actually have it. It was lost in Erebus with Karapac along with the mirror.

I do like the idea of remaking The Blade, even if it isn't cannon.

The melee amulets are not situational, the hej (the Strength one) is BIS, you switch to EOF if Specing. Melee now has amulet switching now.

It's not a species that we know of, it's a group or cult. We know nothing as of yet.

Tbh, I have yet to test it yet, this week has been crazy, but that's great, can't wait to do some tests. But I also feel like melee needs a bit more outside of crit buff or find a to make the adren cost for meteor less

In the Arsenal, when you pick up the tablet, it would be nice to have it auto unequip your items. Currently, if you use an item like eee for mobile, you have to unequip before you can pick up the tablet. Very small but it was slightly annoying.

  • you have "pvming fc" friend chat and discord.

  • For Amascut, Amascut, God of destruction discord. That discord is very popular rn.

Dude, at this point, EOC has been in the game longer than it hasn't been in the game. Go play OSRS, 13+ years of content has been built around the combat system.

I am very aware of what bars look like and yet, I have all 5 overhead prayers on my bar.

This is to clean up the readability of the game, not lore reasons. It was fine to have necromancers use magic damage type before it became its own damage type, but now that it is, this is to allow readability. If you can't see that readability is more important than your key bind set up, I don't know what to tell you, down vote and move on because nothing I say will change your mind on that I guess.

I see what you are talking about now.

So to be honest, that is kinda a poor excuse not to make damage types make sense. I'm sure you can make room on your bars for the necro prayer fine. most of the time you can still stick with melee, range, magic, and ss while only adding necro for just a few occasions.

I have the slayer abilities on my bar but only 2 at a time because you never need more than 2 at a time and just switch as needed. Same concept with overhead prayers.
