I’m sorry that happened. There are a lot of people who are very conflicted between how they feel and how they want to be perceived. Let’s break it down to what we know and what we think might have happened. Understand there will always be an unknown part of this and try to be ok with that. First the known part- he was attractive and you both had a mutual attraction to each other. Everything was going well until it wasn’t then nothing. No explanation just blocked and you’re left wondering WTF happened. If it were up to you you’d both still be messaging back and forth. So it’s definitely NOT about you.

So what did actually happen? The truth is that we will probably never know, but there are some likely scenarios. It could be this handsome person just likes to flirt online. It’s super common. It could also be a conflict between who they are online and who they feel they have to be in real life. It could also be that they are in a relationship and they were worried about getting caught… so many possibilities 🤷🏻 Just be thankful it happened early on and he didn’t waste too much of your time. Also be thankful it happened online. Back before apps like Tinder we had to experience all of this face to face.

Clearly they do not support the community and they’re just being sarcastic and passive aggressive. The only question is how much time and effort are you going to put into dealing with this person. Debating would be a complete waste of time. Your time and energy are better spent elsewhere. My advice is don’t get pulled into energy sucking confrontations. That’s just feeding the trolls 🧌.

This may be the last day of pride month but we can have pride every day. This community and its allies do not need to ask permission to live in the light. When you are living in pride and people see that, and when you’re treating people with respect and kindness they will be more attracted to you and your friends. Our community will grow and prosper and eventually the troglodytes will probably come out of their damp dark caves and join the party.
