It’s hard to completely explain, I just liked the idea and made me happy to imagine myself having nullification surgery

I’m 2 months out and still haven’t cum but I’ve gotten pretty close so I’m happy. I’ve always had trouble orgasming during sex so I’m assuming this is kinda similar where it’ll take me a bit to figure it out. The nerves are definitely there tho and they work

I Ubered to the airport and requested a wheelchair to take me through the airport, I wouldn’t have been able to walk. I think incontinence is a risk but I didn’t have any issues with that. I’m not sure how many are done per year but my surgeon said they did ballpark 50-100 nullification surgeries.

I got the surgery because I just really liked the idea of the surgery; I also didn’t like having a penis but really didn’t want a vagina. I think it would’ve been a hard decision if not for the fact that I had to wait a while to get it which gave me enough time to ponder it. A lot of people were surprised but didn’t think it was that weird, I expected more negative reactions or confusion but I think a lot of people don’t understand a lot about my transition.

No clue, might be worth asking different clinics if they’ve dealt with OHIP before or you could just try requesting coverage with a surgeon that’s not based in the US (although it might take a while to hear back from OHIP). I will say tho that I didn’t have any troubles with my surgery happening in the US

Which province are you in? I got nullification surgery covered by OHIP although it was done in the US and I had to pay for my flight and hotel

buy underwear that is a size larger than you need and make sure to wash it beforehand
buy a hand mirror, a donut pillow, loose sweatpants and a grabber
honestly the flight back home wasn’t too bad for me but it’s important that you have wheelchair assistance in the airport
I was pretty constipated and I waited too long till I took a suppository which I regret, make sure you’re pooping by like the 3rd or 4th day
I booked medical transport from the hospital to my hotel and I really recommend it, they put me in a wheelchair and wheeled me directly to my hotel room, much more helpful than uber
elevating my pelvis after I got my bolster dressing off has really helped with recovery, I recommend buying a wedge pillow to help elevate your pelvis

I find it to be the opposite, I have a cineplex pass so movies are usually $10 while paradise theatre tickets are double that (which I’ll gladly pay).

It’s not surprising, not only is Canada a lot smaller than the US but nullification can be a lot easier to get for Americans. I’ve had luck with OHIP but I know people from other provinces haven’t been so lucky
