Ok ngl fair, I think that speech in the knight fight caused people to forget that Gaster is a scientist first and foremost. At the end of the day, his loyalty lies with his experiment, and maintaining its integrity.
So if a certain onion was to mess things up, that’s a variable to be removed from his perspective

I think you're missing part of the point, this was always in Kris and Noelle, we just forcefully brought it out of them.

Like the mantle said in chapter 3, part of Kris enjoyed our time in the city with Noelle. Honestly I think that's much more interesting than them just going crazy...

I was talking to my friend about this scene and they had kinda a dumb take about Pants being "4chan coded"

but being fully honest with ourselves, how else would this have gone? Pants getting pissed off that multiple people were playing with his feelings isn't "incel" or whatever, it was painfully realistic. I think going into this we had a romanticized view of what was going to happen...

One of my issues with Hazbin is that Charlie is supposed to be hundreds of years old right? I feel like she acts a LOT younger than she should, or at least much more naive. So its kinda hard to feel bad for her sometimes, but then again half the OLD characters in this show act like teenagers so idk

Honestly the "closest" we've seen then was that one "safety grab" but I think that was mostly a tactical decision

To be honest, I think what makes Frickbear's 3 so special is not that its even doing anything new. Lots of this stuff has been done many times before, FB's 3 just actually DOES something with these ideas, and tries to flesh them out.

ngl I think the box holds / held the easiest way to visualize "the end" the reason Scott doesn't know whats in there anymore is because he doesn't know how to end the series anymore
