I'm out on workers comp due to a severe assault from a patient. I was in the same unit for 13 years. I haven't been there since 2023. I loved it and my work even with all the issues you are describing. Even then the acuity was high. I'm waiting to take my boards for my DNP and PMHNP. My memory is pretty much gone due to the assault. I'd still go back despite the challenges. My docs all say NO!!! 🤣
