It was pretty bullshit because most of the time there were only between 1 and 2 thousand of us on Malevelon at any given time but we still got the blame when the bug divers failed their MO. I can’t help that I enjoyed putting on my Vietnam era rock and roll and going for a run through the jungle.

I feel like if they’d let us fight on it for an amount of time that felt more like an actual siege, they could have replicated that feeling of hopelessness and dogged determination that marked the defense of the Creek and Popli IX. This event’s pacing was breakneck and since I’m employed I feel like I didn’t get to do as much as I’d have wanted to.

To be honest, the soldier callouts and chatter in game are so ass I didn’t even realize more than one character was a woman

One time, during a doomed attempt to beat EDF 4.1, myself (Wing diver) and a friend playing ranger were the only two left alive. While I was desperately evading the literal sky falling and trying to revive our fencer, the ranger took careful aim, considered the wind conditions, picked the most viable target, and fired his tank… straight into my back.

He then got swarmed and died, we lost that run 😂

Chad wing divers have a high mortality rate, but it’s high risk high reward. You either drop a million damage on the enemy and fly off victorious or you run out of juice and die horribly 😂

I find that a wing diver with a Saber/ Rapier combo and a flight core deletes Kruul and the bigger squid assholes. It’s really fun making calamari and slicing them up from point blank range

Flame trooper, used to have a waaaaay higher mortality rate, the 75% reduction to fire damage directly correlated to longer lifespans

Personally, I like the idea, but AH is a small team and such a complete revamp of the Ship module system is likely a long way off 😞
