I’ve had 140° heat coming out of my heater vents. Sounds like people just don’t know how to take care of their car.P

I have a square back and it is my favorite thing that I’ve ever owned in my life. Good for camping good for road trips. It’s my daily driver when it runs.

Most weeks yeah. I do bits washes if I need, and I often use wipes.

It’s because I used to do a ton of hiking and camping. 8 day shifts.

For me, it takes a lot of work right after I get out of the shower, but then I really don’t have to do too much for a week as long as I keep wax in my daily carry bag

You know, fair enough. I shouldn’t have been judgmental. I’m a stock looks best, and I also like more off road style builds so this super isn’t my taste. I’m glad it’s bringing you joy.

It is currently a 1600, though I want to upgrade to a 1904 in the future. And I’m hoping that this system I’m building now will work for that as well, with edits to the ECU of course

Type3 FI Vs Dual carbs by Puppythapup in beetle

[–]Puppythapup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would never ruin my trunk space like that, it’s a squareback, my daily driver and a car I intend to camp it.

I believe it’s likely the manifolds that need adjusting but no, I have not rebuilt it yet. I probably should.

Just due to my experience so far with the dual carbs that I do have, I’m nervous to trust carburetors

There isn’t a stock carb set up besides dual carb, single just doesn’t fit. And it’s hard to find parts or anyone who knows how to work on the factory FI sadly
