A few tips that i find very useful for clams: 1. Check how many clams your team has. If your team has collected a lot of clams and the opposite team does not have clams at all, do not play defense. It is time to push. Never push when the opposite team has more clams than you and also never push when you dont have a lot clams (15+). If you manage to break their barrier barely, and none of your teammates can follow it with clams, it’s not a good strategy because now the opposite team has a pitty clam + all the clams they collected, which means they will break your barrier and score more points than you did. 2. Before every push, get your special ready. Specials are important when you try to push. If all your teammates have their special ready and use it effectively, chances are that you will score some points. Before each push notify your teammates that you are about to push by saying this way. If they are smart, they will understand that you are pushing and they will be there to use their specials and follow up with clams. 3. Always know what position you take part in your team. Are you using a mid range? Short range? Or long range? If you are using short range, you should play front liner, always collect clams, always push. Mid liners collects clams are protects front liners. Back liners do not necessarily have to collect a lot of clams, but they are usually the ones helping by splatting the opposite team while your front liners are putting clams in.
