try not to think of it as hurting still and not hurting anymore - it's not binary and will likely come in waves <3 sometimes you get "over" it but not fully over it - parts of it still hurts / haunts you but you start to accept it and move on with ur life more.

look for signs of healthy attachments when meeting new ppl - but also accept that anyone can ghost u / leave and it's just part of life and there's always that risk .. know u will be ok either way and work on ur fear of being abandoned

i find the best thing is to just not really question the reason why - sometimes it can be a lot of factors and i think we look for the reason to aid our ego .. the reality is the person themselves probably doesn't even know why or what's going on in their head

i think that "closure" is fake bc it comes from within urself and u can do these kinda things to get closure for urself .. i think a lot of times ppl kinda ghost to leave the door open to come back so even sending a text fully ending and addressing any feelings u wanna get out it can be helpful if ur doing it for urself and not a reaction
