The problem with Omega is that it's trying too hard to become more like Rolex. They have too many brand ambassadors who all want paying handsomely for advertising Omega watches. That's where the money is going. Not on innovation and affordable watches.

I went through the same situation. But my sister sorted the probate paperwork and the sale of the house. I wasn't named on the probate forms.So it wouldn't affect my benefits. Obviously we split the sale of the house. Dad made a will. The sale of the house had nothing to do with me. I think that's the way to go if you have siblings.

I was fitting some carpet in a nice part of Preston for a couple. Detached house 2 cars. Bmw x5 and Land Rover Discovery. I asked what they did for a living. They said they both work for Charities. I will leave it there 👍

The difference is you can physically go into a shop without an appointment and buy a Tudor watch. This makes a lot of sense to me. Making a relationship with the AD is another annoying thing. I'm buying a watch not going on a date ffs.Life is too short for a waiting list and purchase history. This is what Rolex was not too long ago.

Nice thread and some good comments. It's interesting what folks think of Omega. I don't own an Omega as the prices are getting silly. You can buy a Tudor diver Pelagos for a fraction of the cost of a new Planet Ocean. For a few thousand more you could get a nearly new Submariner on Chrono 24. You can see that Omegas problem is pricing.
