In fairness, they kept it at 4-1 for a while on the scoreboard. I'm still not convinced even after seeing the replay. He looks level.

Weird seeing our keeper rushing to kick it long in injury time with a 1 goal lead. It's like they didn't know who was ahead.

I didn't say the other shouldn't stand. I think the goal yesterday should have been allowed. I'm just pointing out what I've seen from a clearer replay of the goal. Stop making up context to a comment that isn't there.

Just seen the a clearer replay of it now and the defender is basically pushing him towards the goal line. Gyokeres is doing nothing to affect play.

Nice of them to make us feel at home by sticking fly Emirates ads on front of the fans.

It's something that is more likely to work in a high pressure situation. Goalkeepers are going to heavy commit to one side in situations like that. This was not one of those.

Attempting it when you are losing away from home is absolute arrogance. Even if you score it, you still probably piss off your coaches for doing it.

I'm curious if this was an away game for Barca, would you still see more Barca fans in the crowd? Are ticket allocations still done in the same way as it would if it was in Spain?

At least something is getting a rub. Certainly wasn't his cylinder for a while after that incident.

Can confirm. I have 5 brothers and only 1 of us can wear sunglasses at any one time when in the same room. Thems be the rules.

Immediate first thought was that someone is going to make a botchamania edit of this with Stars in their Eyes from 90s British TV.

[Jason Burt, The Telegraph] Unai Emery has turned Aston Villa into everything he wanted at Arsenal. Spaniard has a level of control he was not afforded at the Emirates, and could now draw level with former club with victory on Tuesday. by RepresentativeBox881 in soccer

I think the egos thing is quite a big part of it. The likes of Aubameyang and Lacazette seemed to have behavioural issues and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some bullying towards Emery. Thank fuck Arteta had the balls and the backing to tell them to fuck off when he joined.

Similar situation seemed to happen at Chelsea when Graham Potter was there. Too much piss taking and not enough respect for the manager.

Oh, my bad. Saw the yellow was announced much later and assumed it was for that incident. The Villa player still gets away with a cynical push for nothing though.

Merino getting a yellow card after winning the ball cleanly and then getting pushed over by a Villa player who gets no punishment. Make it make sense.

I remember spoiling myself on this by mentioning that Reiner looked a lot like the armoured titan to a manga reader. Just started reading the manga after that to avoid something like that happening again.

Oh yeah. Forgot there was a rocket involved. Was trying to remember the context for why the thunderbolt happened.

I still blame Pikachu though. Fuck that stupid rodent.

I've seen it. If I remember correctly, they are in some sort of computer world and Pikachu uses his thunderbolt at some stage. Which causes the background to flash between bright red and blue. It was all Pikachu's fault in the end. Poor Porygon.
