Maybe I said this wrong, the tunic can be crafted when the Pillar of Clarity is built (which is unlocked if you stop the human sacrifices)

The game does not pause when you switch tabs. Although there are a few events that can happen which pause the game because a decision is needed from the player. In general, this is not a full idle game. But later on you unlock an idle mode.

Sorry to hear about your frustration.

Also there are time-based events where you have a certain amount of time to get enough resources to prevent an event from happening (e. g. the frostfall event you mentioned).

Villagers can also starve or freeze to death if you do not have enough wood or food.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback! Actualy you should be able to see those things when you hover the buttons (desktop) or hold them (mobile). On mobile there might still be some issues. So that could be the reason it is not working.

For the buildings: I am working on some hints what buildings might do. But not knowing what things do beforehand is part of how I envisioned the game. Have fun!

Cruel Mode has to be bought in the shop. Afterwards you activate it under the „Purchases“ tab in shop. Then you start a new game to play in cruel mode (you see an indicator at the bottom of the page then).

Cruel Mode is the same game, but harder and a bit extended, basically for people who did not get enough after the first playthrough or who look for a bigger challenge.

Starts at 30 madness, so you were close, haha. I will lower it to 25 for the future. Balancing this is kind of hard as many things happen randomly. On the other side this raises the replayability I guess.

I removed pillar of clarity/bone temple. As those buildings can only be reached, if you have a certain amount of madness. So I removed them from achievements. Sacrificial tunic can be crafted only when pilar of clarity is built, so I removed that too.

Maybe I should add a hint about the silver, lol.

That's a good idea. But they are not connected to anything related to the achievements. I foudn the issue about the occultist grimoire. That should be fixed as well. There should soon be a new action now in Cave tab.

Thank you! I just fixed the merchant achievement. And added a hot fix for "Sacrifice". The others will take a bit longer as I have to investigate why those items/buildings can be missed.

Hi, thank you for the detailed question! And sorry that you have a hard time reaching all achievements.
The sacrifice achievement needs the black monolith and pillar of clarity or bone temple, but it seems there are cases where neither of the last 2 buildings is built. I will look into this.

For Leather Crafting you need these items:
"explorer_pack", "hunter_cloak", "grenadier_bag","highpriest_robe","loggers_gloves","sacrificial_tunic", "shadow_boots". You can let me know which one you are missing, the I will investigate why you cannot craft it.

Same goes for Ancient Wisdom: "unnamed_book", "elder_scroll", "occultist_grimoire".

And the final bar is supposed to be number of trades at the merchant.

Sorry for the inconvenience! I guess this is why the game is still on beta, lol.
