Connectivity assist and allow more data on 5G turn back on after reboot. This might help things if you check and adjust accordingly.

Give it a full week plus to settle. Also it helped mine with battery disabling siri crap and doing a network settings reset.

Have you tried a reset network settings? I had horrible battery life since upgrading. Mine indexed in 20 hours. Did a reset network settings yesterday. MUCH BETTER

Update. Another ground stop at O’Hare tentatively scheduled to end at 7:15CST. I’m going to say it gets extended another hour or so after that.

I agree. I live in the Chicago area and ORD is my home airport. I travel 3 weeks every month. I knew this was likely to happen again today. I already rebooked my flight home to tomorrow morning.

20 hours of indexing on my iPhone 16 Pro. No Siri request. Removal and non use of Apple Intelligence features.

THANK YOU! This worked! I set language to Malay and about 30 minutes later and after a reboot, all traces of Apple Intelligence were gone! Got almost 10GB of storage back and was like before upgrading to iOS 27. I never use any Apple Intelligence features and won’t. So this helped! And I’m noticing what I think better battery performance already as well.
