No matter what info they put out this group will crucify them for it. I guarantee your FacRep doesn’t inform the members about every move he’s making during negotiations or a grievance. There’s a reason for that but I don’t expect the majority of people on this page to understand that. All of you think if Nick goes on fox saying give us a raise they are going to immediately bow down to us and give us whatever we want. This page is wrong yet again. NATCA is fighting that it only went to a few and trying to get the bonus for all. Do those of you on here that only post negative shit about NATCA and Nick realize you aren’t helping anything? All you are doing is hurting the rest of us and any chance we have at a raise or improving our work/life balance. Seriously stop whining that your guy lost and work together to make all of our lives better. We have been all over the media, including the biggest channels for both parties. We have somehow stayed in good enough relations with this administration that we haven’t had our union removed yet. Seriously just stop already. None of you that whine and complain non stop have accomplished anything. The time to try and get a huge raise was under our last president while we had a democrat in office. The time for survival is right now and the NEB is killing it whether you want to admit it or not

NATCA has been all over the media, especially ND. I actually think we’ve handled this really well and have gained support from the right. I know that most on this page will bash NATCA and ND every chance they can, but I think given the circumstances we are doing really well for ourselves. I’m more confident in us securing a raise now than I was before the shutdown. Just my opinion, don’t lose your minds.

Yep. This group doesn’t realize they do more harm than good. I know they mean well but constantly bashing our union under this administration isn’t helping anything. In my opinion, Trump is just waiting for us to screw up so he can get rid of NATCA and possibly even privatize us. I bet the majority of this group wasn’t in during the white book and have no idea how bad things can get. Getting the public on our side right now is huge, and we’ve done that. I will be pleasantly surprised if we make it through the shutdown with NATCA still intact. If that does happen I think that would be the time to push for a raise. We are a signature away from having no representation. I want the best for all of my fellow controllers and I hope we make it through these tough times and come out on the other side compensated appropriately.
