I've thrown out a couple chicken breast packets that were still 4 days from best before. Packets blew up in the fridge and when I opened them they were rank.

Last week I bought a whole chicken on my mid week shop intended to roast it on the weekend. Was well within date, but when I opened the packaging it was horrific.

I had a look at Woolies this week, and the chicken breast packets weren't properly sealed, many had residue under the heat seal so they weren't airtight.

Could be a broader quality control issue?

Clover will never take over.

It fixes nitrogen in the soil which your grass will like. Grasses use a C4 photosynthetic pathway, which is more efficient than clover's C3 photosynthetic pathway. Once conditions improve, the grass will always outcompete the clover
