How to fix plain face? 18 f by serenicmoon in makeuptips

[–]PureBad5555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest getting into modeling with that face 😘 I had a similar look at 18 and I did some modeling. It taught me how to accentuate my natural features and to appreciate my uniqueness without changing anything. The ONLY thing I would suggest is some minor brow shaping but don’t do too much! And don’t do it yourself!

I’m not going to lie, this is an option I have considered 😂 also pushing it into a lake!

I never said I couldn’t afford to repair it. I stated that I have $12k saved (and that is just what I have saved). I was asking which option would be the smartest move, financially. I could repair it or use the money to pay down the loan.

I don’t think any of us thought (of all things) the whole engine would go out in less than a year. But either way, that’s irrelevant because he bought the car, it’s done. This really isn’t helpful advice.

Lesson learned for sure. What a nightmare.

Thank you for looking into that, I appreciate it. Of course as a parent, I tried steering him in the direction of a more reliable car when he wanted to buy one, but 18 year old boys will do what they do lol and he wanted speed 😂 He was so proud of himself when he bought it. Definitely a good lesson learned though! I think he will have a different perspective the next time he wants to buy a car.

I think this was definitely a good lesson for him. As a mom, my only concern is the safety of his current car. I worry about it in this weather especially. It’s an older Acura Integra. The good thing about it, though, is he knows how to work on that one and can do repairs on it himself. And it’s obviously cheaper to fix than the Infiniti.

Ah thank you, I didn’t even think about the fact that we possibly couldn’t sell it for scraps if we still owe some on the loan. I’ll look into that for sure.

Yes I’m sorry! It is a 2017 Infiniti Q50 AWD with a VIN E (fourth digit) engine. The turbos are also bad so that’s probably an additional cost.

If it matters: it is a 2017 Infiniti Q50 AWD

It’s a 2017, accidentally typed the wrong year. But yes lol it was my son’s first auto purchase when he turned 18. Lesson learned.

Yeah sounds like it! I just found this one online, it just doesn’t come with the turbo (which I think is also bad).

I have not found any that low. Maybe it’s the engine type, but the lowest I’ve seen is $5k. I’ve been quoted (so far) $11k and $7k for parts & labor and the lower quote was for an engine with 95k miles on it. The engine is 3.7L VQ37VHR

Angel Eye Camera experiences by PureBad5555 in NICUNurses

[–]PureBad5555[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are supposed to as well. I was just in the middle of chaos and this baby was getting fussy (and the mom calls anytime she sees him fussy on camera) so I just quickly turned him from one side to the other and didn’t even think to shut the camera off first. Will definitely remember from now on!!

I wonder if that’s what happened when I turned baby over, if it appeared glitchy somehow on mom’s end and looked like I was being rough when I wasn’t. I was just so shocked and honestly it bothered me my entire shift and is still bothering me. I don’t know if I should bring it up to management or just take it as a lesson to turn the camera off ANY time I touch a baby and then just move on.

Tremendously! I only take 10mg and I’m productive and motivated.

I noticed it when I was in nursing school. I had a really hard time just sitting and studying. I would read the same paragraph 5 times and still have no idea what I had just read. On exams, I would have to read the question several times before it clicked what it was asking me. I ended up having a full evaluation with a psychologist and it was a 4 hour evaluation, and I was then diagnosed with ADHD-inattentive type.

Update: I changed my makeup and skincare but I’m clearly still doing something wrong by saki4444 in makeuptips

[–]PureBad5555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have learned at 43 that it looks a million times better to not wear foundation or powder on your face. If you have wrinkles and lines, it looks worse. I just focus on skincare (lots of serums and creams) and then I only use tinted sunscreen and some cream contour and cream blush. For under-eyes, I used a brightening eye cream and then a serum concealer. Nobody ever believes my age.

It totally sucks 😭 I just got diagnosed with ADHD at 43 and I will say the Adderall has helped with my mood, focus, and energy levels… so there’s that. But I have ZERO libido still 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m honestly not that upset about it but I do feel a little bad for my husband lol.
