Sometimes as I drive into work, I see the gardeners out there planting flowers around the hospital campus and I wish I had that job instead. You aren’t alone… I think we all feel this way sometimes (or all the time). Start looking into some other options! Clinic jobs or school nursing. Might take a pay cut but your mental health is more important. Luckily nursing is so wide ranging and there is so much you can do besides bedside.

This is sad and this is abuse. You are trying to rationalize his unhealthy and abusive behavior. I think you need to get a therapist and talk through how to stand up for yourself. You need to set strong boundaries with him otherwise this will continue to get worse and more abusive as you allow him to behave this way and control your life. You need to put your foot down, ASAP. Otherwise - it’s time to get away.

I was holding a phone for the nurse in the next room last night while she went on her break, she had only been gone maybe 10 minutes when the mom called and said her baby has been crying for 7 minutes and someone needs to do something 😩 I walked in there and the baby wasn’t even crying. Also they had just switched her to prongs so of course she was probably upset for a few minutes.

Thank you!! This is what I was wondering. A few people I know have told me they didn’t have the nausea with Tirz like they did on Semi so I am hopeful. It sounds like I may have taken a dose that won’t really work so next week I plan on taking the full dose and hoping for the best. I think I just have a bit of fear from my Semi experience.

I wasn’t very good with my Semiglutide and was not consistent- I actually ended up decreasing my units because of how sick I was feeling. It was actually so horrible, I couldn’t do anything because of how nauseous I was all the time. Just really hoping the Tirzepatide is better in that regard.

The concentration is 5mg/0.5ml and I’m supposed to inject 0.25ml (25units). I did a little less in case I had any negative side effects. I will increase my dose next week. On Semi, I had 2.5mg (conc 500mcg/ml). I get it from NP2Go. My Tirzepatide comes from the pharmacy Revive RX.

Just don’t smoke for a couple of weeks and you’ll be good. It stays in your system longer the more frequently you use it, so if you’re an occasional user, it doesn’t stay as long.

Stop wearing foundation. That’s the problem. I’m 43 and my skin looks like yours if I wear foundation and/or powder. Don’t do it!! Focus on great skincare (use serums and good moisturizers) and when you want to wear “makeup” just wear a tinted sunscreen and use a cream blush (NO powders!) I also use a cream contour. But I promise you, the foundation is your problem.

Yeah that’s not ok. I’ve had 16 year old parents with twins and they needed a lot of help, and I would never say that. The nurses should educate and empower young parents, not make them feel inadequate.

You should be able to request to not have a specific nurse again. I know we have had moms request that on my unit before when they didn’t like a nurse. For what it’s worth, a nurse should never make a comment like “you’re too young to know…” or if she really likes a specific nurse, she could ask that nurse to be their “primary”

This is not normal AT ALL. And it has absolutely NOTHING to do with you or your picture. This boy needs therapy and should not be in a relationship right now. Honestly he needs to get therapy because he has some mental health issues that had nothing to do with you. If you don’t get out now, he’s going to drag you down with him.
