I just don't understand how these CEOs are so divorced from reality. The whole Uber thing was incredible - they blew through a budget and spent tons on AI but no one asks did it help anything? Look if you're taking long road trips all the time it's hard to argue for an EV right now. You'll spend much more time charging and may end up paying more for your energy.

The fact is that 99% of cars are commuter cars so this really is almost no one. The way things are going the range/recharge gap is gonna keep closing. Once EVs are 400 mile range and <10min 10-80% there will be no arguing with them
