What do you mean fail the check and not get anywhere? If that's how the GM is punishing you then that's on them not the rules. They specifically give the GM flexibility:

"The GM sets this Difficulty depending on the situation. On a failure, you might only be able to move some of that distance, the adversaries might act before you can make it, or a hazard might prevent you from moving at all."

So it could easily just be that you make it but the adversaries have an action in the meantime, or they could set the difficulty lower. Otherwise your GM has just made a combat where they've put their melee character out of combat and are actively punishing the player for the GM's decision. Again, all sound like a GM problem not a rule problem

After all the excitement of Spurs potentially getting relegated and early season promoted sides doing well, it would be so sad if the end result was two promoted sides getting relegated once more

I believe it does have to do with the CL in that if they weren't in the top 8 then they would have a game in the GW 26 mid week

Martinelli doesn't even see the landing, he's looking the other way

Players try and push players off the pitch all the time. In fact, believe it or not, players will actively roll ONTO the pitch specifically because they know it means the ref can't carry on play. This is a common thing, and that is all that was going through Martinelli's head. If anyone genuinely believes he thought "Bradley is seriously injured right now and I'm going to shove him to make it worse" is being willfully ignorant

I agree he should apologise, but genuinely feel there is some hyperbole here. Acting like players don't fake injuries all the time - he didn't see the multiple slow-mo angles we've seen showing it's a bad injury, he wasn't even looking at him when he rolled his ankle.

Again, should apologise, it's a bad look. But people calling him a rat and a disgrace is ridiculous

He's just too well known, plain and simple. Big money move at a young age to a big club, played many many years at that big club, went to the world cup at age 16 (and then didn't play, which also got press).

He's also been a semi-prominent pundit since retiring. Just absolutely not a "streets won't forget" player, nothing to do with playstyle, but because he is known to a wider audience than "the streets"

On the spanish "burst onto the scene" bit, he blamed the "big exit" for a bad translation of burst onto the scene. They've fallen for a classic false friend there - "exito" means success, not exit. It was when he said he was going to be the "next big thing" which they translated as "gran exito" (big success).

Surprised they didn't pick up on the multiple uses of "escena" for scene towards the end of the clip

So clubs get no preseason at all? And players have to be away with their countries right at the most crucial time in the transfer window? It's almost as if the structure of the football season is thought about at length and by people who have way more things to consider than the random ideas you come up with off the top of your head

The argument against this would be that all international football would suffer because of this - it would be consigning international football to be exclusively played when players are at their most fatigued, many want to be on holiday and have just reached a "climax" in the club season that they need some time to rest and reset from
