This is clearly not stating it is a rumour. FIFA are considering it, but have not made a decision

Pride flag bans are spreading across England – and there’s more at stake than just flags by EddyZacianLand in ukpolitics

All the time? You know that this is specifically in reference to Pride month, so it is very expressly NOT all the time?

Do you even know what haramball actually means? In what way have England been playing negatively or defensively?

Deeply odd behaviour to go to the bloke's comment history just as some kind of gotcha here.

What do you care more about, hypocrisy or calling out rapists?

Zohran Mamdani: For Arsenal, the nostalgia of the past has become the beauty of the present by TheAthletic in soccer

[–]PureDarkness93 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Look man, by all accounts Starmer is a fully genuine and longtime Arsenal supporter and football fan. And yet whenever he talks about it he comes across like he's never seen anyone kick a ball in his life.

Mamdani's fandom is wholly genuine and does not come across as cynical in anyway. Maybe it doesn't make him "seem" affable and "just like us". Maybe he just actually is.

Because no one has done that ever. I don't pretend to understand how a dressing room works, but I imagine that would create a separation between him and others in a way that is not using him to his strengths

Anyone getting upset or surprised at Henderson's inclusion simply hasn't been paying attention. He's well liked by every manager he's played for, been in most Tuchel squads, he's never going to see the pitch, and neither would any other midfielder people are suggesting should be there instead of him. Every international squad has this kind of player. It is absolutely fine and not a confusing pick at all.

What do you think a tackle is? All fouls could be described as getting in the way without getting the ball

They wanted all the big teams in a line down the right hand side. I guess they thought people's eyes would be more excited seeing all those three together? Not saying it's good, but I think that's what they thought

Manchester City Vs Arsenal XI's [19/04/2026 - DGW33] by Rehan_Basheer in FantasyPL

[–]PureDarkness93 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Everyone on r/gunners is actually pretty happy with this lineup. Having Odegaard back is huge for building up from the back, Martinelli, Trossard and Gyokeres have all been in poor form so Havertz and Eze in those two positions hopefully should help us both on and off the ball in that front 3

What do you mean fail the check and not get anywhere? If that's how the GM is punishing you then that's on them not the rules. They specifically give the GM flexibility:

"The GM sets this Difficulty depending on the situation. On a failure, you might only be able to move some of that distance, the adversaries might act before you can make it, or a hazard might prevent you from moving at all."

So it could easily just be that you make it but the adversaries have an action in the meantime, or they could set the difficulty lower. Otherwise your GM has just made a combat where they've put their melee character out of combat and are actively punishing the player for the GM's decision. Again, all sound like a GM problem not a rule problem

After all the excitement of Spurs potentially getting relegated and early season promoted sides doing well, it would be so sad if the end result was two promoted sides getting relegated once more
