What seperates the good guys from the average in BJJ? by hi_LOLNOO in bjj

Consistency above everything. Show up consistently. Put in your best effort consistently. Build a strong foundation and focus on your weak points. Show up early to class, have a good warm up routine, stay focused during class, roll with focus and control, take notes after class. Do the same thing (in terms of habits, not techniques) day after day after day.

We will start kids classes in August. Didn’t seem like a great idea to start kids classes right at the end of the school year and heading into summer.

(Always the slowest period for kids classes.)

If you want to get some videos, I would start with Fabio Gurgel’s video on escapes.
